Starion Registry

Post by NXTIME »

Since all the Bishiboy posts were deleted, and the excel file I had with all the info has mysteriously disappeared from my computer, I will try to start the Registry again from scratch. So please post as much info as you can:

Does anyone know where the rest of the info is on imported Jap Starions?
This is all the info on the compliance plate (It says 1981 on the rego papers which obviously can't be right...)

*Japanese Characters* - E-A183A
*Japanese Characters* - A183A-5003744
*Japanese Characters* - 0-12

That is everything on the plate...

Also, does anyone else's Starion have on the rego papers:

Condition - Imported vehicle - exempted from the Australian Design Rules and from the fitment of a compliance plate.

.. as far as I know all imports still have the comply with ADR's... the guy I bought it off said it was because it was imported back in the mid 80's when they weren't as strict.. but I dunno...

I don't know what the trim codes mean, but I am sure smeone with the factory manual could tell us all. I do know that if you have D60 as an option you are lucky.

PS, No JA's ever had the D60 option from the factory.
