What happens if I remove OEM ecu?

I have an EMS 8860 but does that mean I can completely remove the OEM ecu? Or are there some outputs I will still need?

Also the the old ecu loom does it have wires that need to be retained for lights, dash, fuel pump, power windows etc...?

Going to try to tidy up the wiring.

How is your fuel pump wired up? If I recall the ECU provides power to fuel pump when you are cranking and then the relay takes over after it starts.

Yeah the ems was wired into the OEM loom to the fuel pump relay.

If I remove the eci control relay (e8t00571) gold box near the old ecu will it mess with other non ecu/ems stuff/wiring?
