I thought I would put up a picture of my build so far! ( mock up stage )I've still to buy new pistons and shells. I've managed to use the starion water pump by modifing the pump and the tensioner. I'm in the middle of modding the oil pump as its not a direct fit. On wards and up wards!

Old fart, its a convertion buddy, Im converting the 8v sohc to the evo 3 16v DOHC, I'm using the evo 3 head, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, wiring loom, turbo and evo 3 ecu. Everything else is starion. As for bhp I would like something like 280bhp-300bhp. The evo 3 has got hks pullys and some kind of uprated ecu. Ive thought about the increased stress on the clutch and have purchased a 4 paddle uprated clutch and a lightned and balanced flywheel. Have you carried out the convertion? If so have you any recommendations on which pistons and shells to use or any advice will be greatfully recived.

I have a 2323cc stroker with Eagle rods & Wiseco pistons + ACL Race Series bearings,ARP head & mains studs.
300 hp will have the box on the verge of breaking a few teeth so drive it accordingly :( :)
I've had mine since 03 07 92
85 JB 2323cc DOHC 4G63
THE OLDER I GET THE FASTER I WAS
GROWING OLD IS MANDATORY GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL
Yeah, looks nice. I have CP 4G63 2.0 forged pistons I will need to sell soon to buy some wiseco bigger pistons for the 2.4 build. Nothing like hiding a nice set of pistons rofl

Woody are you building a 64 or a 63 stroker :?

64 so the 63 pistons are too small. Thought about the 63 stroker. If I can't see the CP pistons I may lean that way... But honestly, I think I prefer the 64 version anyway.
