Ok photos...

Firstly, I'm a little embarrassed, I didn't take many photos, but the only closeups I got were of bluesystem's Widebody and mine. Meant to get closeups of the others too but my phone was having issues after I took a few.

Also it was great to meet Bluesystem who has the other black Widebody. Very exciting!

Here they are:

Thanks for all the excellent pics Hugh.
I'm totally blown away with the enormity of this event. Team Austarion have set the bar at 5, so this figure needs to be beaten next year
Here's the group hug, but Hugh, aka Mitsumadness & Ramon, aka Mteck went missing.

Shortest guy = Lee, aka blue system
Light coloured shirt = Frank, aka enthused
Red shirt = Andy, aka Hitchy
Blue shirt on the end = Peter, aka panda
The other two were a couple that joined us on the day.

Great effort guys, I'll have to make sure my car is in one piece (and running  ) next year.
Just before Xmas last year (I think) I was driving through Ringwood and notice a widey on the other side & now that I've seen the pics here it appears to have been Hugh's car - looked real nice & very cool seeing a widey in the flesh driving around.

Nice report guys on the car show! I went to this event a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
This year was out of the question with a few renovations going on around the house :(
I'm determined to come next year and might just bring down the red GSR-V I've just about restored!

Welcome to the black widebody club bluesystem. What are the last 3 digits of the Vin No# and how did you get it??

Great day guys,

The comradery of the AUStarion forum members is second to none, have done a some meets with other forums and there's no comparison.

You make me want to own a Starion again for no other reason than that.

I saw my first wide bodies in the flesh and I'm in love!

It felt very strange not having a car on show, so next year the Galant will be there.

Pity they wouldn't let my "1987" Lancer Evo 6 in!!!

My mate Richard who's in the group photo on the end cup with coffee in hand recently sold his FJ20T Dato 1600 and replaced it with sensible family car but after seeing some of the Jap cars on show at the weekend I think he may end up with another project in the not to distant future. Thankyou for accepting him into our group even though he is a Datsun man!!!

Well done all in attendance. Next year we are going to break into double figures for cars attending, no excuses get your cars finished a bring them next year.

Cheers,

Hitchy :beer

Another great Sunday at Hanging Rock and a decent turnout of our cars...

My mate (second from the left in the hug shot) drove Bluesystem's widey back after I drove it up...he didn't think it a big deal even though most here have not seen one let alone drive one. But then he's a VL Commodore fan so he wouldn't know LOL.

I considered it a treat though to drive a widebody with such luscious new paint, it drives well and feels quite different to my ones, thanks Lee. And yes, the car on the end with the flag across the screen is his.

Thanks to Pete for trekking across the continent to join us & for bringing a beaut flag with him.

There were three early Galants there too, and we know we'll see Hitchy at the 2014 one.

Lee, great to meet you & the others at Hanging Rock. We've said it before, but this has got to be the best forum around. Owning a Starion (or 2) allows you to join a very illustrious group of motoring enthusiasts which make up the Austarion family. Again, big welcome to Lee.
