Spotted in Newtown, Wellington

any of you slappers own a blue EX?

There is one parked on the side of the road near my house. Would be the equivilent of the aussie JD, has the nice tail lamps etc no doubt intercooled with LSD.

If nobody does, I'll go put a note under his window and tell him to come here.

My 300ZX did the same thing when it had a blown head gasket.
No compression on 2 & 3 suggests the same.

Check your water and oil, see if they've been mixing at all.

Thats a few nice lil mods to it, should make it go nicely. So is it gonna be a trackday warrior? Yep, and am using it as a daily driver, although that may change. Its a touch loud for daily driving (3" straight turbo-back + Apexi muffler), and it just barely scrapes on my driveway in town. Gon...

Thanks :)

Na it's the 2by2, but not that much difference, 5 inches longer and something like 30-50kg heavier. Has the targa top too which is easier to remove than I expected. It's also automatic, but manual gearboxes are easy to find (yey).

My new project (non-Starion)

Wanted to just get another Starion, but prices in NZ have gotten a bit stupid. Thankfully a new RWD turbo Jappa is coming down to a sexier price range. This is what I got with $2200. It has a blown headgasket, but I plan on rebuilding the motor over the next couple of months which will be fun, and w...

Na broke up with Helen, back in Welly now, working down by Te Papa. Actually have the money to support a Starion now. Had a BMW 325i, same engine as yours minus the VANOS. VANOS makes a big difference though, the non VANOS was laggy off the mark. Driving a 1996 Maxima at the mo. Front wheel drive bl...

WTB: Starion, NZ

Must be reg and either have a wof or not need much to get one. Not fussed on specs, kms, manual/auto etc but would be nice if it looked respectable. I'm in Wellington at the moment and on a budget, so it would need to be closer to the $1000 mark. Need something to run around in, and I miss the old S...

Dandy Warhols

Check out the car

Just found it by fluke this morning.

On another note, 'tis end of an era, my last Starion has left the property :( The GSR-X has gone off to a better place.

Just got the BMWs and MX5 now. Fun fun.
